Prior to joining Amwal as the Chief Financial Officer, he headed the Corporate Finance Function at M/s. Zain Group of Companies, a leading mobile telecommunication company in the Middle East and Sub Saharan Africa with a portfolio of more than twenty two countries, he has made valuable contributions in raising capital to finance the growth story of Zain. Prior to his role at Zain,he serves as the head of Treasury Department at M/s. MOBINIL, a leading mobile telecommunication company in the MENA Region. He also served in various other roles at M/s. Savola Sime Company, Barclays Bank and PWC.

Mr. Mohammed holds an MBA (Highest Honors) with concentration in Finance and International Business and a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration (High Honors), both from the American University in Cairo. Additionally, he has attended and participated successfully in several training courses, workshops, conferences, road shows and management presentations covering many fields and subjects such as syndicated lending, capital markets, derivatives, cash management, Islamic finance and project finance arranged by local, regional and international institutions.
